Would you die for a lie if telling the truth would save you? The disciples of Jesus went to their deaths defending the things they preached and wrote about concerning the resurrection of Christ. They could have saved their lives if they had recanted their testimony. The means of their deaths were horrible to suffer and yet they all went to their death believing what they had witnessed concerning Jesus Christ. This is powerful testimony for those who would question the veracity of the Bible. We can trust the Bible and its plan of salvation for today. Believe that Christ died, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures and you are saved that very moment. Why delay - "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" Acts 16:31
